I guess some people become hostile towards those accusing Crunchyroll of censorship, because those accusations are obviously baseless and mostly worded in a hostile manner as well. Basically, hostility begets hostility. If the approach by those concerned about censorship were "Was this censored by Crunchyroll?"
Crunchyroll is a business, it's not their job to archive things they don't own the rights to. If a show isn't viewed enough to warrant the licensing fees then I wouldn't blame them for not continuing it.

Crunchyroll has had subtitles/cc the issue with this is when closed captioning(cc) is enabled then subtitles don’t work. And vice versa. Now by federal law any show that airs on braudcast tv has to have closed captioning on streaming, so my hero academia seasons 1-5, attack on titen, and a few others have closed captioning but no subtitles.
