Depends on the angle we're looking at it from. JIB stipulate that you need 2330, NVQ 3 & to have passed the AM2 to be classified as an electrician. Non-JIB companies can (not saying they do) call someone with 2330 an electrician, or somebody who has done a 5/10/however many day course.
