Cleve Hill Solar Park is now generating renewable power through photovoltaic panels, providing clean power to thousands of UK homes. Construction began in early 2023 and the solar park is now fully operational as of Summer 2025.

Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners has completed construction and started commercial operations of the 373MW Cleve Hill Solar Park, now the largest operational in the UK. Cleve Hill, located in Kent, is now exporting at 100% of its capacity.
Cleve Hill Solar Park is a hybrid solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) park situated on the North Kent Coast. It is a 373 MW solar and 150 MW battery storage project constructed by Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners.
Keith Gains, managing director and UK regional leader for Quinbrook, called Cleve Hill a “model for the development and financing of future large-scale projects” in the UK. The landmark project was granted development consent in 2020 and was the first of its kind to be approved as an NSIP.
METLEN has successfully delivered on the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners’ Cleve Hill solar park in Kent, currently the largest in the UK with an installed capacity of 373MW.
Even on an overcast November day Quinbrook, the company who built Cleve Hill, says at times the park generates enough electricity to power 20,000 homes.
